THE PATIENT PERSPECTIVE ON BREAST HEALTH !

For the same reasons that you take the trouble to learn about your hair, your skin and other parts of your body, and how to carry out the specific care requirements for those parts, so it makes sense to learn about your breasts and how to care for them.  In addition, taking note of any changes in your breasts is important, as then prompt action can be taken to investigate those changes, so that should there be a medical problem, it can be dealt with at an early stage.

The female breast, celebrated throughout history by poets, painters and sculptors as a symbol of femininity, is to all of us a continual source of wonder!  On it all mammalian forms of life depend.

Each breast contains from fifteen to twenty milk producing systems.  Until puberty there is little to differentiate the breasts of a girl from those of a boy. At the age of puberty, though, the breasts enlarge considerably in the female, but not in the male. Then, as the girl's ovaries begin to function, two hormones are produced; estrogen and progesterone.  Progesterone stimulates the growth and proliferation of the milk producing cells, while   estrogen, promotes the growth of the duct system.

When the body has reached it's full growth, the size of the breasts remains relatively unchanged, until pregnancy takes place, when they immediately begin to swell.  During the period of lactation or nursing, the breasts become swollen to their maximum size. After weaning, they return to a smaller size, but usually larger than before the first pregnancy.  The breasts shrink after menopause, or change of life, and in old age the breasts can become completely atrophied.

The breasts are composed of glands and vessels embedded in fatty tissue. In the center of each breast is the nipple,  which has fifteen to twenty openings which are connected to the milk producing ducts. The nipple is surrounded by the areola, which has various tiny bumps. which are really sebaceous glands, and contain a fatty substance that acts as a protection for the skin of the nipple when suckling.

The physical construction of the mammary gland is very complicated.  Deep inside the breast the milk is gathered in tiny pockets. Several of these are united to form little bundles, no larger than the head of a small pin.  These bundles unite further into bigger vessels, called lobules, and the lobules converge together  in groups to form ampullae's, or reservoirs to contain the milk.  These reservoirs lie under  the areola and have direct connection with the nipple through the ducts.

As well as the complicated milk secreting parts, the breasts are also well supplied with nerves, arteries and veins, and have numerous lymphatic glands which connect with the auxiliary gland in the armpit.

Hormone Regulation

Exercise addresses the changes in our breasts that occur due to the passage of time,  after having children, or hormonal fluctuations. Regular therapy gives women the opportunity to regain the tone, shape, and to increase bust size naturally.

Well formulated exercise is a safe and natural alternative to surgery.  Should
you want a fuller, firmer, more beautiful bust line, hormone balancing is the first step every woman should take. Unknown to many women is the fact that hormone imbalances can actually lead to poor bust development as well as problems brought on by age or pregnancy.

Regulating these hormones can put some balance back into our lives.  Regular exercise therapy will promote breast health and breast development.

Bust exercises work synergistically (together) and individually to promote breast development and also to boost your mood, mental clarity, and even sex drive. You really have nothing to lose and everything to gain !
